We entered the alpaca industry several years ago and since then have been quietly building a herd of quality white huacayas.

Our focus over the years has been on genetic improvement and this has been achieved by using quality males both through an embryo transfer program for three years and natural progression.

We have been ardent supporters of the long term viability of the industry and have actively supported Regional activities during our time as members of the Association. Jenny has served in a number of roles at the Regional level over the last eight years and continues to do so.

Our property, Hillside Gardens Alpaca Farm, is situated at the western side of the picturesque Avon Valley on the edge of the wheat belt area of Western Australia. The 100 acre property, just 72 kms from the Perth CBD, is a one hour drive through the Darling Scarp, and is home to over 60 alpacas and White Suffolk and SAMM sheep.

We are committed to breeding quality white huacaya and look forward to the day when large herds of alpacas fill Western Australian paddocks. With their gentle eating habits and soft padded feet, we believe that alpacas will indeed be an environmentally welcome sight.
